The Cairns Museum welcomes visits from school groups and we offer a range of free services to help you plan your visit.

If you are interested in visiting the museum with your class, we have a range of worksheets based on our displays.

The Cairns Museum also has a number of activity kits that you can use in your classroom.

We also offer our "History on the Move" Trailer which can visit your school and give kids an interactive experience of objects and their uses. The Trailer comes with two enthusiastic volunteers, with Blue Cards, who can lead the activities.

This website also contains some well-researched information on the social history of Cairns, to assist teachers and students who are studying history

We look forward to seeing you!
