The Cairns Historical Society’s photographic collection has been assessed as nationally significant for its extensive visual record of Cairns and Far North Queensland, including Cape York Peninsula.
The Cairns Historical Society holds over 24,000 digitised photographs. The photographs can be searched by subject or name and viewed in our collection catalogue.
The catalogue is not yet available online but our photographic team know the collection intimately and can assist with any query.
