Connect your students with the memories of the people, places, events and changing environment of Far North Queensland through the Cairns Museum Schools Program. Led by qualified and experienced teachers and delivered by knowledgeable and passionate volunteers, Cairns Museum’s educational, fun and engaging curriculum based packages are a must for any school.
Our program includes:
- Excursions to the Museum
- Incursion visits with 'History on the Move'
- Museum in a Trunk Hire program
- After School and Kindy programs

Cairns Museum Education ProgramsCharges
Visiting the Museum costs $6 per child under 14. Prices valid through to 1 April 2020.
Visiting student groups POA.
Schools and International education providers who do not have credit approval with the Cairns Museum can pay or cash or credit card on the day. A PO or voucher from a Cairns school is also acceptable.
