WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM 2020
Create a reflective newspaper collage art piece about the experiences of kids in Cairns during Covid-19 restrictions, put your thinking cap on to solve riddle clues and follow the scavenger hunt clues and get creative capturing images from all around the Museum.

HISTORY MAKERS WORKSHOP

Target Age: 5-12 yrs
Description: Create a reflective newspaper collage art piece about the experiences of kids in Cairns during Covid-19 restrictions and record your thoughts in our recording booth via interview questions. Your creations and interview might be featured in our future exhibition on #COVIDCAIRNS. Imagine seeing your work on display in the Cairns Museum!

MUSEUM PHOTOGRAPHY SCAVENGER HUNT
Time: all day
Target Age: all visitors
Description: Get snapping! Follow the scavenger hunt clues and get creative capturing images from all around the Museum.
Ask a grown-up to upload your favourite pictures to their Facebook or Instagram account (with their permission of course), tag us and use the hashtag #cairnsmuseumphotochallenge.
Keep an eye on our social media pages to see if your images are featured. Pick up your FREE activity sheet at the Reception desk on entry.
