Photography for personal use is permitted in our galleries, except where signs request otherwise for cultural reasons. For commercial photography and filming requests, please contact us.

Tickets can be purchased online ahead of your arrival at the Cairns Museum. If you are unable to attend on the day you booked for, please contact us to arrange an alternative time and ensure you don’t miss out.

The museum has free wifi available for all guests. If you have any trouble connecting, please speak to the information desk.
Venue hire
The Cairns Museum offers a range of spaces available for hire. We have two meeting rooms that are set up with technical support that accommodate up to 20 people each. Our verandah alone is also suitable for events, and some gallery spaces can be arranged upon request. For availability and to determine suitability, please contact us.
